Areas of comprehension
This is an inter and multidisciplinary colloquium whose focus is on the dialogue between Philosophy and the different areas of the scientific knowledge, aiming at the teaching of ‘sciences’ - exact sciences, human sciences and social sciences – suggesting that the formal education is effectively an opportunity for the human development of critical and reflective thinking of social integration, intercultural dialogue and citizenship. In this way, this event will bring up education in specific areas of knowledge to discussion, as well as the importance and defence of the connection between the epistemology of each of them and the philosophical knowledge. The meeting of specialist researchers – from Brazil and abroad – who study the teaching of different areas of knowledge, will provide, by means of the Psychology of Knowledge and Philosophy, new subsidies to the programmes of researches on teaching several specific areas of knowledge, such a Philosophy and Psychology.
